It comes in a paste form that you can mix with your rice. I have eaten it plain with just rice and have added furikake and homemade salmon flakes with it. It just makes the rice a step above the usual.

This sauce has a nice salty and sweet taste. The saltiness is not overpowering and it gives every meal extra flavor.
