Game Gear was the only portable game console in Sega's history. To commemorate their 30th anniversary, Sega launched these 4 mini Game Gear! You can enjoy some of the most famous masterpieces from the company.
This set includes all 4 colors, plus the sega big window (screen magnifier)! Each console has a different game list:
1) Black:
- Sonic The Hedgehog / Puyo Puyo / Outrun / Royal Stone
2) Blue:
- Sonic & Tails / Gunstar Heroes / Sylvan Tale / Baku Baku Animal
3) Yellow:
- Shinning Force / Shinning Force II / Shinning Force Final Conflict / Nazo Puyo
4) Red:
- Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible / Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible Special / The G.G. Shinobi / Columns
Note: All games are in Japanese! So you might need to brush up your Japanese skills!

Even though I knew how small these were before ordering, I was still shocked how small the packaging and units were when they arrived. Screen is the size of a postage stamp, but still playable. Note that there is no way to change the screen language to English, so the JRPG games are pretty much unplayable without viewing a walkthrough at the same time (for those of us who are monolingual.) I bought these for the nostalgia and collectibility so my expectations were tempered and I’m not disappointed with the purchase. Units are solid and 2 AAA batteries make the power source fairly easy to change out. I would recommend for the 50ish or 40ish gamer and collector who remembers the Game Gear fondly.
