Red Bean Soup

During the new year, people in Japan eat red bean dessert with mochi aka oshiruko to celebrate while enjoying the treat's sweetness. Ring in the new year and celebrate like you're in Japan with a bowl of this red bean soup!

Try it with: mochi

Directions:

1. On medium high heat, heat a medium-sized pot with water up to 3/4 of the way.

2. Once at a rolling boil, add pack of red bean soup (unopened).

3. Boil for 3-5 minutes until the pack is warm.

4. Remove from pot and cut open packet.

5. Fill in serving bowl and enjoy!
