I bought two of these for a funny little taste test with my cousin, little did I know I bought the best worst thing on the market. I don't know if I got a bad batch or not, but this taste absolutely positively vile. It does somewhat taste like french fries... like IF someone ate french fries, then threw them up, and then let it fermented for a few days. Took one sip and had to throw it away. I feel physically and mentally sick after drinking it. 10/10 would buy again.

I enjoy Sugoi Mart's selection for how unique and different everything is. I can try snacks and drinks that I would never be able to access elsewhere. This fried potato Ramune, definitely didn't disappoint there: the drink tastes just liked french fries, only without the salty bite you ususally get with real french fries. It's more like if someone successfully made a french fry syrup and added it to soda.
Now, saying that, this does not taste good. I was hoping for a salty-sweet drink, but it's just sweet. As much as I tried, I couldn't finish the bottle.
If you're looking for a unique taste experience, definitely try this! But be warned: you probably won't like it.
