According to legend, Kurume-style ramen was developed when a chef accidentally over-boiled his broth. The resulting brew was so flavorful that today, Kurume-style ramen shops still recycle their old broth. In this way, Kurume broth retains its richness and doesn‰۪t require the addition of extra fat. Make your own flavorful kurume ramen at home.
Try it with: Nori, bacon, soft boiled egg
1. Bring 500ml of water to a boil and add the noodles for 2 or 3 minutes.
2. Separate the noodles from each other, turn off your stove, and add the soup packet.
3. Stir well, finish with the oil packet, and enjoy!
